CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

Our tours for the beginner on up utilize the spectacular wilderness areas that surround Vail. Cross-Country skiing is where it all started. Come join us!

Beginner AM tour, Tu. & Th. 10:00am -1:30 pm. Cost $85.

All day tours (intermediate and above), Fridays 10:00am - 3:30pm, 2-person minimum required. Cost $119.

Full day private lessons, daily, 9:00am - 3:30pm, $459. Good for up to 6 people. Reservations required.

Half day private lessons, daily, 9:00am - 12:00pm or 12:45 - 3:45pm, $299. Good for up to 6 people. Reservations required.

Note: Tours, (with the exception of the skin & ski), include skis, boots, poles, water. Shovels and beacons where appropriate.
TELEMARK
Telemark skiing, also known as free-heel skiing, combines the best of cross-country with downhill. No matter what your level, our expert telemark instructors can teach you how to fine-tune your technique, from learning the basics of telemark skiing to making every turn effortless.

Beginner lessons, Sat. 9:30am -12:15pm. Cost $79 or $114 with lift.

Intermediate Lesson, Sat. 1:00 - 3:30pm. Cost $79 or $138 with lift.

SNOWSHOEING
Designed for leisure lovers, our snowshoe tours will take you through the White River National Forest. Hear about the history of Eagle County as you spot wildlife and enjoy serene views. Tours are led by well-versed guides who outfit you with the latest equipment from top manufacturers.

Classic cross-country skiing is ideal for guests wanting an alternative mountain experience. Beginners are introduced to cross country skiing on groomed terrain at The Vail Nordic Center. Accomplished alpine and cross-country skiers who want to accelerate their abilities should try skate skiing. This fast-paced Nordic sport is performed on daily groomed terrain and involves equipment specifically designed to keep both you and your heart rate speeding along. Lessons can be arranged through the Vail Nordic Center or the Beaver Creek Nordic Center. The Beaver Creek Nordic Center also offers telemark lessons & snowshoeing.
