Beaver Creek World Cup

Slated for December 4 through December 7, the 2008 Birds of Prey dates and race schedule were recently confirmed at the International Ski Federation's (FIS) congress in Cape Town, South Africa. The 2008 Birds of Prey World Cup Race Week will include men's downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom and Super Combined events.

Birds of Prey will once again mark the only men's World Cup event in the United States and the only World Cup site for either men or women to feature four events, aside from the World Cup Finals.  Constructed for the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships, Beaver Creek’s Birds of Prey race course is widely recognized as one of the top five race courses in the world, and is the only venue in North America to hold a World Cup Men's Downhill race.
